At Our Savior Lutheran Church we value the journey in grace, the walk that we have together as the body, the family, of Christ.  Scripture in many places calls us to encourage, lift up, support and be accountable to one another (1 Thes. 2:10,11, 5:11,14, Heb. 3:13). Through The Family Care Plan, we recognize that Scriptures teaches that each member belongs to the other (Rom.12:4,5). By coming together not only as a larger worshiping body, but also through small family groups as demonstrated through the Early Church, written in the book of Acts (Acts 2:42) we can connect on may different levels that deal with spiritual as well as physical needs. This system seeks to put that into practice.

We pray through this new system of family support, we would build one another up in love so that no one might travel alone and each member of God's household walk together through the journey in this life until we reach our final destination, our home with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
