With a mission site here at Our Savior,Lansing, POBLO (People Of The Book Lutheran Outreach POBLO Website). Named, Living Word Lutheran Church, we seek to reach out to Muslims, Sihks, and Hindus among others to raise up disciples and to establish Christ-centered communities in their various ethnic groups. This new ministry celebrates in worship every Sunday at 3 PM.

Amer, and his wife Mercy, are originally from Pakistan. Amer is full-time lead missionary with Mercy working part time on women's ministries. Since they began 2 years ago, the ministry has flourished with many ESL classes, food and clothing banks, mom and tot classes, drivers training and more.

Simon Ajak Originally from Southern Sudan, moved to Kenya as a refugee and while a refugee, he planted 2 churches. Simon is currently serving Living Word Lutheran Church (Sudanese cong. speaking the serving Dinka language).


In addition to Lansing, POBLO has mission sites in Grand Rapids, Troy, Rochester, Dearborn Heights, Queens-New York, Dallas-Texas, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto.
