Our Savior Food Bank

Jesus says in Matthew 25:40, "Whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

Our goal is to show loving kindness and compassion so the love of Christ shines out to other people.

The Our Savior Food Bank is a branch of the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

Our ministry is to dispense one week's supply of food to people in need. In addition, we also dispense Bibles and Christian books for adults and children as well as personal care items and donated clothing.

Managed by a director and many volunteers, the OSL Food Bank served 2,495 families (7,594 individuals) by distributing 164,278 pounds of food (over 82 tons) during 2003. There is indeed a great need for this ministry and also for volunteers to assist in this ministry.
