Mr. John Horak's Blog

What a wonderful worship service we will have this Sunday as we remember the gifts God has given our congregation, our school and honor all who have been a part of it whether as teachers, students, parents and members of the congregation.

The all school choir, under the direction of Mrs. Horak, will be singing an anthem titled “Walk Worthy of My Name.”  The children are so enthusiastic and it is very inspiring to see them all together in the front of the sanctuary.  In addition, a brass choir, the Adult Handbell Choir and worship team will be leading us in singing praises to God through hymns and songs throughout the centuries.

As I sit down to do my first blog, I wonder where this will lead.  I hope that it is an opportunity to share with you about my ministry and about me as a husband, dad, Christian etc.  In addition, I would encourage you to share with me your ideas, concerns, questions, comments about worship, music and how they relate to you as a Christian in your daily life and as a member of the church.
