Third Grade

Classroom Notes

In a couple of weeks we will be starting our Flat Stanley Project. After we read the book in class, each child will be sending a Flat Person to someone in another state. This is where I need your help. Do you have any friends or relatives who live in a different state other than Michigan? If so, write their name and address on a piece of paper and send it to school with your child. This has always been a fun learning project for the children.

Introduction

This is an exciting year of learning for third graders. They are becoming better readers each day and are ready for more challenging work.
They will be learning lots in math including multiplication and division later this year. Social Studies and Science will keep us busy as well as computer class. However, the most important thing we learn is not in academics. Each day we read and learn more about our loving Savior, Jesus Christ. It is in Him that we put all our hope. It is Him whom we praise and serve.
