Our Savior offers competitive sports throughout the academic year as well as a summer basketball camp. Students practice after school and compete both at Our Savior and away. There is no additional cost for participation in our sport teams.
We currently compete in the following sports:
- Boys' soccer - for 5th through 8th grade students who practice and compete during the fall.
- Girls' basketball - junior varsity for girls in 5th & 6th grade and varsity for 7th & 8th graders. Both teams practice and compete in the fall.
- Boys' basketball - junior varsity for boys in 5th & 6th grade and varsity for 7th & 8th graders. Both teams practice and compete in the winter.
- Peewee basketball - the number of teams depends on the number of 3rd through 5th graders who wish to play. Teams are coed and play all games on Saturday mornings during the winter at Our Savior.
- Track - a coed team of students in 5th through 8th grade who practice and compete against other Michigan Lutheran schools in the spring.
- Cheerleading - a competitive team for girls in 5th through 8th grade who practice in the winter and cheer at boys' basketball games. Includes periodic activities throughout the year and an optional summer camp.
